South Florida Book Festival: Making Sound & Sense of Poetry



Sound & Sense: This workshop will explore the basic elements of poetry: rhythm, metaphor, and voice. Participants will be introduced to the work of several contemporary poets, engage in close readings of a text, and demonstrate what they have learned through an in-class writing exercise. 

Maximum participants: 15
