New on TikTok: Brining the Story of Marcus Garvey to Jamaica Jamaican parents. Black parents. Caribbean parents. When I was a yute in Jamaica, they named Marcus Garvey as our first National Hero. But nobody told us his real story. Nobody told us about the boy who dared to dream when the world said he couldn’t. Nobody told us about the man who built a movement when others only built doubts. That’s why I wrote My Name Is Marcus. Because our children deserve more than statues. They deserve stories that show them who they are. Stories that teach them to walk tall. Because it’s through stories — and our imagination — that we are healed. That’s why I’m taking Garvey's story back home. During the 5th Anniversary of the Read Aloud Program, where I’ll be visiting these schools. I hope I get a chance to meet some of you, so we can reason a likkle more about Marcus Garvey. Until the next time — walk good. Jamaican parents Black parents Caribbean parents this is for you When I was growing up in Jamaica we honored Marcus Garvey’s name but we were never given his full story Garvey wasn't just a symbol he was a boy with questions a dreamer a builder That’s why I wrote My Name Is Marcus to give our children more than statues to give them stories that heal stories that plant pride early and stories that awaken purpose I’m taking Garvey’s story back home for the 5th Anniversary of the Read Aloud Program If you’re a Jamaican parent Caribbean parent or Black parent raising confident children this journey is for you Walk good #JamaicanParents #CaribbeanParents #BlackParents #TheStoryOfMarcusGarvey #BobMarleyMusic

Garvey, New Age Before New Age
Before Deepak Chopra.
Before Eckhart Tolle.
Before spirit got trapped in algorithms.
Garvey was already talking about:
the divinity of man,
the power of thought,
the soul’s connection to the Infinite.
But the system told you he was just speeches—
just lyrics—
and left out the spirit.
They never tell you—
Garvey was a healer.
He studied New Thought.
And he read:
Science of Mind — Ernest Holmes
Divine Science and Healing — Malinda Cramer
The Secret Doctrine — Helena Petrovna Blavatsky
The Creative Mind — Ernest Holmes
Poems of Passion — Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures — Mary Baker Eddy
(Source: Robert A. Hill, Marcus Garvey: Life and Lessons, 1987)
And he combined all that
with the Bible,
and an African worldview
that valued our relationship
with each other,
with nature,
with the divine—
that Rastafari transformed into I and I—
and which New Age gurus today are calling Non-Dual Thinking.
Garvey didn’t do this to escape the world—
he did it to remake it.
Into a world where we could thrive.
Because Garvey didn’t use spirit to avoid pain
or to become a millionaire,
he used it to build community.
No retreats.
But spiritual armor.
That’s why I created Daily Garvey Wisdom.
It uses Garvey’s own words—
straight from The Philosophy and Opinions,
a book Garvey called a “Text-Book of Negro Inspiration”—
so that Jamaican parents, Caribbean parents, and Black parents
can start the day with upfull words
and pass them on to your children.
Because Garvey wasn’t just ahead of his time—
he was decoding a spiritual technology
our people—and especially our children—still need.
Because Garvey saw consciousness
as the battleground
for our people.
So ask yourself:
Can your favorite New Age guru teach you—
as a Black person—
how to live whole, free, and fearless
in a system built to erase you?
Garvey could.
Garvey did.
His words are battle-tested.
New Age before New Age—
but always for our people.
But the question is:
In matters of spirit…
will we trust our own Black genius?
who’s never heard about Garvey the metaphysician.
Until next time—
walk good.

New on TikTok: Lies About Marcus Garvey. What the Algorithm Gets Wrong About Marcus Garvey Marcus Garvey built ships—not to deport—but to empower. Yet AI, echoing decades of distortion, keeps repeating the lie that the Black Star Line was about mass repatriation. It wasn’t. Garvey’s vision was global Black trade, pride, and power. In this video, I correct one of the biggest myths about Garvey—using his own words and verified sources. AI bias is rewriting Black history—but not if we tell it right. So before you post about Marcus Garvey, check your facts—against what Garvey himself said. A lot of you have been spreading lies about Marcus Garvey. I don’t think it’s intentional. But it’s harmful—and it isn’t the truth. As someone who’s studied Garvey for over 20 years, let me tell you what the algorithm won’t. The Black Star Line was not about deporting all Black people to Africa. That’s false. That’s not what Garvey said—and it’s not what he built. In Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey, Volume 1, he said: “Some of you are no good here, and naturally you will be no good there.” That wasn’t about exile—it was about accountability. The Black Star Line was created to establish trade routes—Black ships, Black crews, Black commerce. In a 1920 editorial in the Negro World, Garvey wrote: “link the continents of Africa and America by trade and commerce, so that the millions of our people scattered throughout the world may be brought into close contact with the motherland.” That’s not repatriation—that’s Pan-African enterprise. But AI doesn’t check sources. It scrapes content, echoes bias, and spreads distortion. AI bias rewrites Black history—line by line, lie by lie. The truth about Marcus Garvey’s story—distorted for decades—is too important to be left to machines. So if you care about truth in telling the story of Marcus Garvey— Stop copying the algorithm, and check your facts. I do. And before you post anything about Marcus Garvey— Check your facts against what Garvey himself said. #AIBias #TheStoryOfMarcusGarvey #MarcusGarveyQuote #BlackHistoryMatters #BlackStarLine #PanAfricanism Marcus Garvey, Black Star Line, Pan-Africanism, AI bias and history, Black history education, Garvey quotes, Garvey speech, Negro World, Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey, historical misinformation, Black history TikTok, Garvey facts, correcting Black history, machine learning bias

New on TikTok: Digital Censorship. This video is a direct response to the unjust flagging of my post on Marcus Garvey’s prophecy and the coronation of Emperor Haile Selassie I—an event foundational to Rastafari and Black history. In under 24 hours, the video gained over 700 likes before being falsely flagged for “excessive gore and violence.” I do not promote violence. I speak truth, rooted in The Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey and historical fact. This isn’t about guidelines—it’s about digital censorship, erasure, and the fear of Black voices speaking with clarity. I’ve appealed the decision, because I will not be silenced. @juliusgarvey@thelivingphilosophies#Garvey prophecy, Haile Selassie coronation, Rastafari history, Black history truth, digital censorship, false flagging on TikTok, Marcus Garvey legacy, suppression of Black voices, TikTok censorship, truth in Garvey teachings Ah, Babylon, I tell you. Yesterday I posted this video about Marcus Garvey’s prophecy and the coronation of His Majesty. The video was doing well— In less than 24 hours, it had gained over 700 likes. And then boom—someone decided to tell a lie. They claimed the video had “excessive gore and violence.” As someone who prides himself on telling the truth and protecting our children, I find this deeply offensive. TikTok flagged my content— yet allows millions of lies about Marcus Garvey to go unchecked. Don’t worry—my next video is about this. This isn’t about guidelines. This is about the truth. This is about erasure. It’s about the discomfort some feel when Black voices are heard— when we speak history with clarity. Every word in that video was either from a scholarly source or from The Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey. I do not promote violence. Every video that I’ve posted is about Marcus Garvey and trying to repair the damage that’s been done to his name and legacy for almost a hundred years. So I’ve appealed it— because I will not be silenced. #DigitalCensorship #Rastafari #BobMarleyMusic #MarcusGarveyProphecy #BlackHistoryMatters

New on TikTok: Perseverance and Determination. Marcus Garvey said, “Perseverance and determination on the part of any people lead ultimately to the goal which they seek.” “Nobody can keep you down but yourself. And in 1930, the prophecy came to pass When Ras Tafari was crowned Emperor of Ethiopia — and became Haile Selassie I, the world watched an African king rise to divine status. And on the island of Jamaica, a man named Leonard Howell, The first Rasta--They ALSO called him The Gong--remembered Garvey's words And from that moment… Rasta far eye was born. New on TikTok: This powerful short video explores the prophetic legacy of Marcus Garvey, often called the Black Moses, who foresaw the rise of a Black empire, the liberation of Africa, and global Black unity decades before it happened. Through bold voiceover and striking visuals, it asks whether Garvey was a prophet or the blueprint for Pan-Africanism, Black nationalism, and cultural awakening. His words still echo today, calling for an awakened Africa, racial pride, and self-determination across the diaspora. “They called him the new Moses… But did we ignore his message?” “Marcus Garvey wasn’t just a leader. He was a messenger.” “In 1913, he said a new Black empire would rise in the West. He saw a future where African nations would free themselves—long before the world believed it.” “He called himself the fore runner. His people called him Black Moses. But like Moses… he never saw the promised land.” “He died before the independence of Ghana Before Mandela’s freedom. Before Africa stood on its own feet.” “But his words still echo: ‘Now we have started to speak, and I am only the fore runner of an awakened Africa that shall never go back to sleep.’” “So I’ll ask again… Did we ignore the message? Or are we only now beginning to listen?” Was he a prophet… Or the blueprint?” “I would love to hear your thoughts Want to learn more about the story of Marcus Garvey? New on TikTok: They Tried to Stop Marcus Garvey’s Mission. But His Legacy Lives. They tried to stop Marcus Garvey’s mission in 1919. But his story didn’t end there. This scene—from the graphic novel My Name Is Marcus—shows what they never taught us in school: How Garvey survived betrayal and bullets. How Amy Ashwood Garvey shielded him with her body. How he stood and spoke the very next day, bandaged but unbroken. They don’t want you—or our children—to know about heroes like Marcus Garvey. But we remember. Share this. Repost it. Let his legacy rise again. Scenes from My Name Is Marcus What if I told you they tried to stop Marcus Garvey’s mission in 1919— and almost succeeded? In his Harlem office, something happened that would change everything. She didn’t hesitate. Amy Ashwood stepped between Garvey and danger. That choice may have saved his life. George Tyler— who some say was sent by powerful enemies— showed up that day. He didn’t come to talk. He came to end something. He survived. But questions still linger about George Tyler— who escaped police custody, then mysteriously jumped from a second-story jail window. He never recovered. Bandaged and bruised, Garvey stood before the people the very next day. And he spoke. Because even after betrayal and bullets, his mission never wavered. Want to know more about Marcus Garvey— and the stories they’ve hidden from us and our children? Because they don’t want you to learn about heroes like Marcus Garvey. But now you know. So share this. Repost it. Let his legacy rise again. They tried to stop Marcus Garvey’s mission in 1919. But his story didn’t end there. This scene—from the graphic novel My Name Is Marcus—reveals what history books left out: How Amy Ashwood Garvey stepped in to protect him. How Garvey, wounded but unshaken, still stood before his people the very next day. How the truth behind George Tyler’s actions—and what happened after—still raises questions. New on TikTok: What do a Holocaust survivor and a Black nationalist have in common? Viktor Frankl survived the Nazi death camps. Marcus Garvey led the largest Black empowerment movement in history. Two different worlds—same revolutionary idea: the mind is the key to freedom. Frankl created logotherapy—the belief that meaning and mindset are what keep us alive, even in suffering. Garvey taught that mental emancipation was the first step toward Black liberation. “None but ourselves can free the mind.” Frankl said, “The last of one’s freedoms is to choose one’s attitude.” Garvey and Frankl knew—freedom isn’t given. It’s claimed in the mind first. Different struggles. Same truth: Control your mind. Control your destiny. Want to explore the Garvey Mindset? Link in bio. Everyone wants to know your next move. But maybe your next move is to breathe. To feel your own name again. You are not late. You are standing at the beginning of your becoming. “Always imagine yourself as a perfect being.” — Marcus Garvey Even in your uncertainty. There’s nothing wrong with not knowing. Start where you are. Trust what’s within you. You are already enough to begin. Save this for the days you forget who you are. You don’t need outside approval to be enough. You know who you are. New on TikTok: The Garvey Mindset series is a daily reflection rooted in the teachings of Marcus Garvey—designed to center identity, ignite purpose, and build mental strength in a world that profits from our confusion. Each post is a tool for self-improvement, a call to personal growth, and a guide to survival in Babylon. This is for writers, thinkers, educators, and anyone doing the inner work to reclaim their mind, their purpose, and their name. In a system that erases history and distorts identity, the Garvey Mindset offers clarity, resistance, and self-determination. Here we journal, reflect, and stand firm in who we are—because liberation starts in the mind. #GarveyMindset #KnowWhoYouAre #SelfImprovement #PersonalGrowth #ReclaimTheNarrative

New on TikTok: WHAT IF A TOLD YOU 1 What if I told you… This was never just about land. It was about memory. And who gets to write it. Erasure. Not by accident—by design. A hand reaching across time to erase identity. To make us forget who we were… So we’d never know what we could become. Marginalization. They didn’t just remove us. They rewrote us. Cut us out of the center— Then made us believe we never belonged there. Division. When they couldn’t erase us— They turned us against each other. Different tribe. Different tone. Different flag. Same wound. Same empire. Marcus Garvey saw this coming. He said: “History is the landmark by which we are directed into the true course of life.” Erase the landmark— And a people wander. If this hit you—don’t scroll. Share it. New on TikTok: What if I Told You: Here is the clean, copy-paste ready full script for Episode 1 of your What If I Told You series—no extra formatting, just clean text for use in your Canva design, teleprompter, TikTok captions, or video script: What if I told you Marcus Garvey wasn’t anti-white. He was anti-colonial. Before we go further—save this. This series is based on my own research. Not recycled soundbites. Not ChatGPT summaries. Primary sources. Real documents. This comes from my library. Real pages. Receipts in hand. (Hold up The Marcus Garvey Papers) Garvey admired the Irish. He backed the Easter Uprising. Wrote to Éamon de Valera. Named UNIA HQ “Liberty Hall” after the rebel stronghold in Dublin. “Our problem is exactly the same as Ireland’s. Ireland is fighting for Ireland, and Africa wants Africa.” — The Marcus Garvey Papers, Vol. I He saw the pattern. Ireland. India. Africa. Jamaica. Same playbook. Different accents. Where empire lands, it does the same thing: Bans the language. Rewrites the history. Replaces the leadership. Criminalizes the culture. Turns memory into silence. He didn’t hate white people. He hated domination. He preached sovereignty. That’s what made him dangerous. Share it. Teach it. Reclaim it. Garvey wasn’t anti-white. He was anti-colonial. And they knew it. Likes and reposts are the currency here. Spend abundantly, my friends.
