I haven't read enough to even begin to consider participating but I'm curious to know your thoughts on Erna Brodber, if you're familiar with her work? I was reading a post over at Scott Kaufman's blog and her name kept coming up in a very positive way: More on the Possibility of Conservative Literary Criticism

I read Jane and Louisa a million years ago and didn't really get into it because it wasn't to my taste, but there are critics and writers who love her work.

Oh Geoffrey--you make me so hungry to read Lamming...so, I submitted my paltry 6 (including a couple London/Caribbean novels)...no stress, right? I'm so glad you're doing this--it's more fun with a tighter category, I think!!!
Peace, Anne
